Learn how to install the mobile application.
Introduction
The mobile application is available as a progressive web app (PWA). This is a special type of app that can be installed on your phone or tablet directly from the browser. It is not available on the App Store. This will simulate a native app experience on your device without the need to develop a separate app for each platform.

Installation Steps
Navigate to the Web App in Safari (Or Chrome for Android devices)
Log in with your administrator password and click around a few pages of the application.
Reset the URL
The add to home screen functionality will not work properly if it has the /login path in the URL.
It will just create a web bookmark instead of a mobile app. To fix this, click the the URL bar and set the path to /dashboard. If this is already in the URL bar when you click it, hit GO. This will correct the path to how we need it.
Add to home screen
Click the share button in the middle of the bottom nav bar, then click Add to Home Screen.
Verify that the path is correct and click Add
Ensure the Name is "ALPR", (NOT "ALPR Database") and the URL is correct. Click Add in the top right corner.
Done!
Now the application will be on your home screen just like any other app and function like a native app completely outside of the browser!
